Miss Lulu and the teaspoon shortage
I was most impressed by the lush Self Portraits Lucia Holm a.k.a Miss Lulu who did her Bachelors from Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA was from New York academy of art. Feast you eyes on the images below and pay her visit on her website and blog for more.

I would have to say, after looking through all these photo collections, that you have given a me another reason to keep on doing the kind of photography I have been working on the last 6 years... if you're interested in the story, then drop me a line...
ReplyDeleteBut more importantly, I am even more convinced than ever the truest art that photography can aspire to is NOT the set piece shot, with perfect technical detail and a thesis to make all the literati proud.... no... it is the dynamic, yet frozen-in-time stillness of one instant where water and human meld into each other's space... there is nothing more basic than capturing an instant of union... and nothing more vital...
